Stacie N.C. Grant started her quest to become an entrepreneur during her college career. Ms. Grant realized early in life that a college degree didn't guarantee you success in life. College is merely an opportunity to level the playing field while competing with other professionals. The reality is; college prepares you to be a “good” employee in order to get a “good” job with “good” benefits , and of course retire with a “good” pension. Acknowledging that this was not “good” enough for the future she wanted, Ms. Grant began building the foundation of her business immediately after her college graduation. Being an entrepreneur is by no means an easy undertaking. It is much easier to work for someone else with a steady paycheck than to garner the discipline necessary to be in business for yourself. Ms. Grant is a firm believer that even though it may take a while to see the fruits of your labor as an entrepreneur , you must not quit before you get your blessing! Through her faith in God coupled with the support of her family & friends, Ms. Grant's journey as an entrepreneur has not been in vain.
Ms. Grant has always been an organizer/planner. As her Mother loves to recall, from as early on as kindergarten, the results of Ms. Grant’s early childhood progress report stated that “Stacie is a very smart young lady, but she needs to realize that she doesn't run the class and that I am the teacher. Stacie has a habit of organizing the students and conducting her own class.” Well not much has changed since her formative years. Before formalizing this part of her business , she was always organizing various events for friends & family for free ; and through their encouragement she added her invaluable event planning service to her business. In addition to her collegiate training, Ms. Grant completed additional business training and stays abreast of industry changes through her various National Association Affiliations. Her natural love for people and her Christian morals give her the balance and patience necessary to help others get through the high stress preparation process for their important events. All staff members of C&G must adhere to C&G's exceptional Standard of Excellence. When planning an event, whether it's a meeting, annual conference, special event or wedding, the benefit of having professional assistance is priceless! Some people feel they can save money by doing things themselves or asking a friend or relative for help ; what they don't realize is that the wealth of experience and the vendor relationships professionals have, end up saving the client more in the long run. Clients soon come to understand that “service with class is not expensive…it's priceless!” and that’s the definition of C&G Professional Event Coordinators.
Helping others is at the core of Ms. Grant's fiber. She is known for going above and beyond normal boundaries to help others, much to the frustration of her family and closest friends. She is quoted as saying “I love to see people happy & encouraged, and that I had something to do with the smile on their faces.” Everyone has the ability to achieve greatness; they just need the proper guidance to hone their natural God-given talent. That guidance and inspiration is what Ms. Grant strives to achieve through her motivational presentations. Ms. Grant is committed to our future leaders (our children) as evidenced through the specifically designed life skills and leadership training she offers/provides to teens and young adults. Her lessons demonstrate what happens when academics meet real life practical experience. Additionally, her other target market is women professionals. Ms. Grant is committed to reminding women that despite the pressures to be the perfect daughter, sister, wife, mother, relative, business professional, friend, etc… we can survive the balancing act and still achieve personal levels of success! She credits God for giving her the ability to touch people in a specially way through her dynamic & captivating oratory skills!
